We stopped in for a drink having never been there before and it was a special occasion. We were pleasantly surprised. Beautiful bar, quiet atmosphere, wonderful staff. I told the Lady bartender to surprise me being as it was my birthday and I was unsure of what kind of drink I wanted, so she created a drink for me and let me name it. Behold.. the 'BRAND NEW DAY'. Wonderful establishment. My only issue (my hubby's issue actually) was that at that moment they didn't have ANY crown royal on hand to make a crown & coke, and that's his drink of choice. But the night wasn't about him anyway so no harm no foul
This place was so swanky and nice. It’s seat yourself but they have waitresses that come by so you don’t have to wait at the bar. We went on a Saturday from 9-11 and were able to get a table. The drinks were like 13 a piece for menu ones and about 7 for simple common drinks. The drinks we got were very tasty. We will for sure be coming back
Community oriented and consistently go out of their way as a friendly / welcoming neighborhood establishment to ensure patrons feel relaxed and enjoy fun times with friends, family, colleagues, et al. Have resided in Dwntwn Durham for over 2 years and dram & draught is unlike any other place to grab a quality beverage of choice and enjoy great company. Shout out to Abigail as well; awesome customer service and went above and beyond to help ensure the tail end of my evening found a denouement that included a warm and friendly smile. “Keep it dirty, Durham…” “when you dig it, do it. when you dig it a lot - do it twice ce.”
We loved Dram and Draught so much we went twice in the same day. The staff was super friendly and informative, and the drinks were great. We even got to try some unique things as we chatted with the bartender. The location is a decent size with a variety of indoor and outdoor seating, booths, bar stools, pub tables, and a lounge area. Highly recommend stopping here, as they seem to have a drink for everyone. I also loved that the menu showed the type of glass the cocktail would be served in. Just a nice added touch!
I have been twice now and had great experiences both times. The bartenders really know what they are talking about and can point you in the right direction when you want to expand your whiskey palate. I was very impressed with Michael. Definitely go!
Madison is amazing!!! I've been going to the Raleigh D&D for years and just moved to Durham and decided to try this location out and OMG I am so happy I did. Madison was so helpful, fast and helpful. She made the most delicious cocktails and had the best music playing. 100000/10 recommend.
I decided on the ginger beer here! The bartenders were pleasant and the playlist of music was super cool! It was a nice low key vibe! My selection of choice was Ginger’s Revenge Blueberry Mosaic! I absolutely loved it! I need to find this in a bottle asap!
The Bourbon and Scotch selection is amazingly great. We ordered a flight and was worth every penny. I love the atmosphere and the location is right off the sidewalk with nice outdoor seating. Cozy and lively vibes
